电磁法技术在海底电缆故障定位中的应用

    Application of Electromagnetic Technology in Fault Location of Submarine Cables

    • 摘要: 由于海底电缆的运行环境复杂,故障定位存在精度差、效率低等问题。文中基于电磁感应原理,结合国内某近海风电场风机集电海底电缆定位施工案例,研究故障海底电缆磁场的波形特征,并分析不同电气接线工况下磁场波形差异;同时,耦合全球定位系统测量数据,实现故障的精确定位。结果表明,电磁法技术可有效实现海底电缆故障的精确定位,可为今后类似的故障定位提供可行案例,对相关技术的推广具有重要意义。

       

      Abstract: Due to complex operating environment of submarine cables, fault location often suffers from poor accuracy and low efficiency. Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, combined with a construction case of submarine cable location for offshore wind farm fan collectors in China, magnetic field waveform characteristics of the faulty submarine cable were studied, and the difference of magnetic field waveform under different electrical wiring conditions was analyzed. At the same time, measurement data of global positioning system (GPS) was coupled to achieve accurate fault location. Results showed that electromagnetic technology could effectively realize the accurate fault location of submarine cables, which could provide a feasible case for similar fault location, and was of great significance for the implementation and promotion of related technologies in the future.
