Abstract: The crimping and protection of wind power cables play an important role in the safe operation of wind turbines. In this link,the construction environment, crimping tools,crimping methods and operator level and other factors may cause poor crimping quality. Therefore, a simple and rapid method is needed to verify the crimping quality at the crimping site. The crimping technology of wind power cable was studied, and the quality of crimping was verified by establishing mathematical model.
