Abstract: As a non-destructive test of electrical equipment, partial discharge (PD) detection can reflect the insula-tion condition of electrical equipment promptly. The paper introduces the PD detection technique like electrical meas-urement, acoustic measurement, optical measurement and chemical detection, and then introduces several PD signal de-noising technologies. Finally, the prospect of partial discharge detection and de-noising technology is prospected.
