Abstract: The development history of copper-clad steel wire for conductor in China is introduced.The main technical innovation points of several domestic copper-clad steel production processes are described in detail for the first time.The differences in production and development quality,process level and production cost of domestic copper-clad steel wire are analyzed.The new demand of market for copper-clad steel wire and the route of developing new process are put forward(17 references cited).
