Abstract: High-voltage XLPEcable outdoor termination is filled with the insulating oil as the insulating medium,and the insulating oil plays a very critical role in the operation of outdoor termination.The relation between the compatibility of the insulating tape and the insulating oil in outdoor termianl,the internal pressure after expansion and the influence on the electric field strength and insulation oil were described in theory.
