Abstract: Life cycle assessment (LCA) is a core requirement in evaluation standards for green-design products.Due to the complexity of LCA methodology and procedures, and variations in LCA for different products, it’s necessary to furtherly clarify specific rules of the LCA for specific products.Based on general LCA international standards, interpretation and supplementation of the LCA in T/CCSA 255—2019 Technical Specification for Green-Design Product Assessment——Communication Cable are conducted.Key aspects of life cycle concept in the application of communication cable products are elucidated, specific methods of LCA for communication cable products are also proposed, which can provide reference for relevant personnel in carrying out LCA work and formulating specific LCA regulations for communication cables.
