多重光散射仪测定拉丝液稳定性的应用

摘要: 为了研究拉丝液稳定性的差异,在借鉴研究乳液稳定性常用方法基础上,采用Turbiscan型多重光散射仪研究了相同浓度和相同配制工艺的两种不同牌号拉丝液体系在25℃和50℃时的稳定性。可得到体系中乳滴粒径随时间变化,透射光和背散射光的绝对值,及多次扫描后光强度变化值(透射光△T值和背散射光△BS值)等数据。通过软件自动计算得出稳定性指数和分散均匀性指数。通过该方法判定两种拉丝液稳定性的优劣结果与其在实际使用中效果好坏和使用周期长短数据相一致。因此,采用多重光散射仪能够快捷准确评价拉丝液的稳定性,帮助材料选型和使用工艺调整。Abstract: In order to study the stability of drawing fluid, referencing with traditional methods, multiple light scattering instrument Turbiscan was applied to study the stability of two brands of drawing fluid systems which have same concentration and same preparation process at 25 ℃and 50 ℃. The absolute value of transmitted light and backscattered light and the change of light intensity (△T value of transmitted light and △BS value of backscattered light) after multiple scans were obtained. The stability index and the dispersion uniformity index were then automatically calculated by the software. According to the method, the stability of the two kinds of drawing fluid is judged, and the result is consistent with the data of the effect and the usage cycle in actual use. Therefore, the use of multiple light scattering instrument can quickly and accurately evaluate the stability of drawing fluid, and help to select raw materials and adjust the use process.
