Abstract: The research and development background of D-type cable for 5G communication base station was introduced. Through the analysis of product use environment and use characteristics, the product characteristic requirements were determined, and the structural design and material selection were carried out according to the product characteristic requirements. According to the characteristics of product processing, special molds were designed for auxiliary processing, and the final mass production and delivery of products were completed. It provides a certain reference significance for the research and development of similar cables in China.
