Abstract: The descriptions of key properties about the military and industrial standards of China, the United States, Germany, Britain and Russia about longitudinal watertight cable for naval ship were compared. It was pointed out that the relevant standards had different provisions on the test items and test methods of longitudinal watertight cables. Based on the comparative analysis, combined with the actual working conditions of the ship, the reliability test items of the longitudinal watertight cable for naval ship were proposed.
