大长度层绞式海底光缆及其过渡接头研究

    Research on Long-Length Stranded Submarine Fibre Optical Cable and Its Transition Joint

    • 摘要: 与传统中心管式海底光缆相比,层绞式海底光缆可以容纳更多的光纤芯数,但由于成缆设备装盘容量的限制,层绞式海底光缆无法实现大段长连续生产。为此本工作提出了一种大长度层绞式海底光缆及其过渡接头,通过对过渡接头进行拉力试验、曲挠试验、扭转试验及耐静水压试验,验证了过渡接头的性能;通过对层绞式海底光缆过渡接头处进行拉伸、冲击、压扁、反复弯曲、张力弯曲、温度循环等试验,验证过渡接头对层绞式海底光缆性能影响。试验结果显示,含过渡接头的大长度层绞式海底光缆其各项性能均符合标准要求,满足工程应用需求。

       

      Abstract: Compared with the traditional central tube submarine fibre optical cable, the stranded submarine fibre optical cable can hold more fiber cores, however, due to the limitation of the drum of the cable-former, the continuous production of the long section of the stranded submarine fibre optical cable cannot be realized.A kind of long-length stranded submarine fibre optical cable and its transition joint were proposed.The performance of the transition joint was verified by tensile test, flexion test, torsion test and hydrostatic pressure test.The influence of the transition joint on the performance of the laminar stranded submarine cable was verified by tensile test, impact test, crush test, repeated bending test, bending under tension test and temperature cycling test.The test results showed that the performance of the long-length stranded submarine fibre optical cable with transition joint meets the standard requirements and meets the requirements of engineering application.
