Abstract: As the “nerve” and “blood vessel” of national economy, optoelectronic cables are an industry that focuses on materials rather than industry, and consume huge raw materials every year. There are differences in products among enterprises in cable material industry. Each enterprise has a certain monopoly in technology. The large categories of products are the same, and there is a strong substitutability. Besides, market competition is fierce. Proportion of research and development investment and expenses account for operating income is also increasing year by year. Therefore, demand for various materials and changes in the proportion of demand in cable market are investigated, which can provide reference and guidance for the technical development direction of material industry.
