Abstract: Installation environment of cables inside ships is different from that of land use, with some areas having narrow or even closed channels, which has resulted in high filling rate laying. Three types of high filling rate laying of medium voltage cables on ships were simulated, test plan of temperature rise was developed and the heating situation of cables under high filling rate laying conditions were modeled and simulated. Suggestions for filling rate installation and laying in specific environments were given.
