应变测量在光缆运维中的实践及重要性分析

    Practice and Importance Analysis of Strain Measurement in Optical Cable Operation and Maintenance

    • 摘要: 分布式光纤传感技术是近年来通信领域研究的焦点方向之一。布里渊光时域反射(brillouin optical time-domain reflectometry,BOTDR)作为重要的分布式光纤传感技术,可利用光纤作为传感器测得目标对象的实时应变数据、应变变化趋势以及速率等信息,并及时给出预警信号,以便及时采取应对措施,避免严重后果发生。通过BOTDR在通信光缆线路中的实际应用案例,阐述了如何利用BOTDR+光时域反射仪(optical time-domain reflectometer,OTDR)的方式进行通信线路的精准运维,保障通信安全。

       

      Abstract: BOTDR distributed optical fiber sensing technology has emerged as one of the focal points of research and attention in the field of optical fiber sensing in recent years. BOTDR technology can utilize optical fibers as sensors to measure real-time strain data, strain change trends, and rates of target objects, and promptly provide early warning signals, enabling timely preventive measures to be taken and avoiding more serious consequences. This article presents practical application cases of BOTDR in communication optical cable lines, and elaborates on how to utilize the BOTDR+OTDR approach for precise operation and maintenance of communication lines, ensuring communication security.
