纵向水密同轴电缆铝箔纵包模具的研制

    Development of Aluminum Foil Longitudinal Wrapping Mold for Longitudinal Watertightness Coaxial Cables

    • 摘要: 针对深水特种设备用同轴电缆对高频传输与纵向水密的严苛要求,文中研制了一款与编织机同步运行的带胶铝箔纵包模具。通过在动态生产中将涂覆阻水胶的铝箔精准纵包于绝缘线芯,实现无缝电磁屏蔽与可靠纵向水密密封,并与后续镀锡铜丝编织无缝衔接形成双重屏蔽结构;随后,分别采用专用的深海模拟压力试验装置和高性能矢量网络分析仪对电缆试样进行纵向水密性能测试和高频传输性能测试。结果表明,基于该模具制造的电缆可同时满足20 GHz高频信号的低损耗传输与500 m及更高水深的长期可靠运行,为水下装备提供了关键的线缆解决方案。

       

      Abstract: To meet stringent requirements for high frequency transmission and longitudinal watertightness in coaxial cables for deep sea special equipment, a longitudinally applied adhesive coated aluminum foil wrapping mold that operates synchronously with a braiding machine was developed. By precisely wrapping adhesive coated foil onto an insulated core during dynamic production, seamless electromagnetic shielding and reliable longitudinal water sealing were achieved, and seamless integration with subsequent tinned copper wire braiding was realized to form a dual layer shielding structure. Subsequently, cable samples were tested for longitudinal watertightness using a dedicated deep sea pressure simulation test device and for high frequency transmission performance using a high performance vector network analyzer, respectively. Results showed that low loss transmission of 20 GHz high frequency signals and long term reliable operation at depths of 500 m or greater were simultaneously achieved by cables manufactured with this mold, providing a critical cable solution for underwater equipment.
