Abstract: The cables on the in service aircraft were studied for the purpose to extend its service life. As the cables were deteriorated by low and high temperature,moisture,oil,etc.,the insulation performance was a failure as time goes by. The before and afterlife assessment experiments of the cables were studied in this paper,and the results provide evidence whether the cables should stay in the service.
