Review of Cables Used in Industrial Robot System

With the requirement of intelligent industrial production, industrial robots are gradually developing from unitary to complex multifunctional.As a carrier to transfer power and signal,cables used for industrial robots also need to meet higher performance requirements, with higher resistance to bending, torsion and mobility.In this paper,based on the comprehensive analysis of the literature and documents about robot cables, the definition, the industry standards,the basic structure and requirements of robot cables were introduced.
