    Research on Sag Characteristics for ACCC Conductor

    • According to the sag test and calculation for two different kind of ACCC,the influence to the sag characteristics of initial tension,ambient temperature,cross section area ratio between aluminum part and composite core had studied. Results shown that: the knee point temperature increase with the initial tension increasing under the same test condition. And for the same conductor under the same test tension,the knee point temperature in summer is higher than that in winter. Under the same test condition,the knee point temperature is higher for the conductor which have a bigger cross section area ratio between aluminum part and composite core.
