    Research on Cable Fault Location System Based on Embedded Linux Operating System

    • In modern power cable fault detection, after finding the specific location of the cable fault point, in the case of uncertain whether the cable is live, in order to further recover the faulty cable safely, it needs to be pierced.Generally, manual piercing is used, but once the identification is wrong, the accidental piercing of the live cable will not only affect the safe operation of other equipment, but also directly threaten the personal safety of the staff.Therefore, based on modern micro-control technology, using single-chip technology and voice broadcast system,combined with hardware design and software design, A non-contact intelligent control power cable safety piercer with timing mode and remote control mode was studied. Successfully solved the inconvenience and safety hazards of the identification of whether the cable is live or not, and the inconvenience and safety hazards of manual piercing, ensuring the safe production of cable operation.
