Overview of Cable Fault Detection

The reasons of the cable fault and fault types were analyzed, and then the commonly used detection methods at present, including traditional fault detection method and the fault detection method based on the reflection method were summarized. Finally, the applicable range and advantages and disadvantages of various methods were summarized, and the development trend of cable fault detection technology was prospected(33 references cited).
