    Analysis and Solution of Metal Sheath Ground Circulating Current in Cross Connection of High Voltage Cable

    • The metal sheath grounding circulating situation was introduced when the high voltage cable line was designed in the mode of the non transposition cable body with the metal sheath cross interconnection, and the technical requirements of State Grid Corporation and Southern Power Grid Corporation for grounding circulating current. Then the principle of high voltage cable metal sheath grounding circulating current was proposed. Combined with the actual cases of the power company, it pointed out the potential harm of circulating current to high voltage cable line. Then the affecting factors about the circulating current was analyzed. The grounding circulating current value and load proportion under the corresponding influence factors were given. At last the solution ways of the circulating current were proposed. It provides guidance for the design of high voltage cable line.
