    Research Progress of Pultruded High-Performance Fiber Composite Core in Cable Conductor

    • Fiber-reinforcing composite core conductor is a kind of new energy-saving, capacity-increasing and light-weight conductor. It gives full play to its excellent electrical and mechanical characteristics of fiber composites. Compared with traditional cables, the effective conducting area is improved, the weight of the cable is reduced, the heat resistance is excellent, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is low. Researches of composite core in material composition, forming process and quality detection in recent years, are introduced. Future development goals and direction of pultruded high performance fiber composite core for cable are also elaborated(21 references cited).
