Influence of End Fixing Method on Breaking Force of Overhead Insulated Cable

    • Effect of four end fixing methods, including low melting point alloy casting, clamp method, pre-twisted wire fixing method and fitting crimping method on tensile strength of 1 kV overhead insulated cable conductors was studied, and their test results were compared. Results showed that clamp method was determined to be the best end fixing method by analyzing and combining the advantages and disadvantages of different fixing methods.
