Analysis and Research on Common Crimping Failure Modes of Military Cable Assembly

Steps of analysis process were introduced through a failure case. Aiming at failure mode of the small number of core strands and crimping resistance due to the leakage of adhesive during assembly process, a spot welding method was proposed to improve crimping reliability.
