    Discussion on the Design of Mica Tape Wrapping Process for Refractory Cable

    • To enhance the quality of refractory mica tape wrapping and the utilization rate of materials, simulation analysis and process verification of mica tape wrapping process for refractory cables were conducted. Relationship between parameters such as the number of wrapping layers, wrapping angle, wrapping overlap rate and tape width, as well as the influence on the performance of refractory cables and the consumption of raw materials were discussed. Design selection method for mica tape width and process control method for wrapping overlap rate of mica tape were put forward, which could provide reference for the design of the same type of wrapping process.
