    Research on Full-Scale Test and Corresponding Working Condition of Umbilical Cables

    • At present, offshore oil and gas development in China has become increasingly mature. As one of the key products for deepwater oil and gas development, the full-scale test of umbilical cables is still incomplete and difficult to study. Various working conditions during production, storage, installation and operation of umbilical cables for underwater production systems and the impact on their performance were analyzed. Combined with standard requirements and actual working conditions of umbilical cables, significance and purpose of test implementation were described in detail. Full-scale test could be used to verify and test the performance of umbilical cables during installation and operation, provide reference for breaking through the domestic application bottleneck of deepwater umbilical cables.
