    Research on Flaming Droplets/Particles of d0 Grade for B1 Flame-Retardant Cables

    • In response to technical difficulties in design and manufacturing process of B1 flame-retardant cables, especially in achieving requirements of flaming droplets/particles of d0 grade in GB 31247—2014. Manufacturing process of B1 flame-retardant and flaming droplets/particles cables (abbreviated as B1/d0 flame-retardant cables)of d0 grade was systematically analyzed and optimized by studying sheath materials, cable structures, production processes, and other aspects. Results showed that selection of sheath materials with excellent combustion shelling and self-extinguishing properties, selection of cable auxiliary materials, and strict control of production process had a certain impact on flaming droplets/particles of d0 grade, with could provide reference for cable enterprises in development and manufacturing process of B1/d0 flame-retardant cables.
