    Comparison and Analysis of DC Cable Technical Specification System for Energy Storage System

    • Under the backdrop of global energy structure transformation and sustainable development, the new energy industry is rising rapidly with an unstoppable momentum. Technology of power storage has been widely applied in various fields, and DC cables for energy storage systems play a crucial role as the nervous system connecting power generation, transmission and storage in electrochemical energy storage systems. Based on technical specifications of DC cables for energy storage systems released by TÜV Rheinland, Shanghai National Center of Testing and Inspection for Electric Cable and Wire Co., Ltd. and China Quality Certification Center, key indicators such as product structure, characteristics, assessment items and test equipment in each technical specification were compared and summarized. Besides, research direction of standardization process of DC cables for energy storage systems was proposed, providing reference and guidance for the more scientific standardization development of DC cables for energy storage systems in the future.
