Abstract
Ultra-high voltage (UHV) transmission, with its technical advantages of ultra-long distance, large capacity and low loss, has become the core support for optimal energy allocation in China. Rapid advancement of its engineering construction has imposed stringent requirements on anticorrosive and lubricating materials for overhead conductors. Aiming at the problems of conductor corrosion under complex working conditions such as high temperature and humidity in coastal areas, marine environments and extreme temperature differences in northern China, as well as insufficient high and low temperature performance of traditional anticorrosive greases, research on development and application of heat-resistant and anticorrosive grease for UHV overhead conductors was conducted, based on poly(1,4-cyclohexanedimethyl-1,4cyclohexanedicarboxylate) (PCCD) polyester technology. Through base oil compounding, thickener screening, additive compatibility optimization and systematic performance testing, an anticorrosive grease product that could meet Greases for Overhead Conductors (GB/T 36292—2018) and Technical Specification of Heat-Resistant Grease for Gap Type Overhead Conductor (Q/GDW 11599—2016) was successfully developed. The product exhibited excellent stability in the temperature range of −50 ℃ to 240 ℃, with a dropping point of 330 ℃, a corrosion test grade of 10, which passed verification by multiple domestic and foreign enterprises and achieved initial application. The study systematically analyzed domestic and foreign status, standard systems and performance requirements of UHV overhead conductors and anticorrosive greases, and elaborated on key technologies and test results in research and development process, providing technical reference for the upgrading and industrialization of anticorrosive materials in UHV transmission lines.
